Abstract
The Act provides for the designation of noise control officers, avoidance of unreasonable noise by occupiers of premises, noise abatement notices by noise control officers, enforcement of abatement notice, handling of complaints of excessive noise, noise abatement directions by the noise control officer, powers of officers in case of non-compliance with directions, appeals against notices, etc.
