Public Health Sewage (Code) Regulations 2008.

These Regulations, made under sections 41 and 142 of the Public Health Act 2004, set out, in the Schedule, the Public Health Sewage Code and declare it to be a Prescribed Code in terms of the Act. The Code concerns authorization of construction of sewage systems. The Code also provides for more stringent standards in declared Lagoon Protection Zones. The Lagoon Protection Zone is an area where higher standards of sewage treatment are needed to protect the coastal lagoon from sewage pollution.
