Abstract
These Regulations, made under the Ports Authority Act 1994-95, concern licensing of pilotage, the carrying out of pilot operations and safety in navigation and apply to a vessel that must carry a pilot under these Regulations. A pilot may also be freely requested by a vessel. A vessel mat notify the Ports Authority of its estimated time of arrival (ETA). The harbourmaster may, from time to time, issue guidelines, not inconsistent with the Act or these regulations, to make sure that pilotage-(a) complies with international standards: (b) reflects other applicable standards or requirements.
