Protocol of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China and Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Chile on the plant quarantine requirements for Prunussalicina and Prunusdomoestica imported from Chile to China.

The State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as AQSIQ) and the Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Bureau (hereinafter referred to as SAG) of the Republic of Chile agree that Prunussalicina and Prunusdomoestica exported from Chile into China shall comply with the relevant laws and regulations of China and Chile, and do not contain the quarantine pests which China is concerned about. Under the guidance of SAG, effective pest prevention and integrated pest management (IPM) shall be taken in order to avoid or reduce the occurrence of quarantine pests, and to maintain the plant health status of designated production areas. SAG shall provide AQSIQ the relevant information on pest prevention and IPM measures. Remaining Articles make provision, inter alia, for monitoring system, processing, labeling and packaging of Prunussalicina and Prunusdomoestica.
