Abstract
These Measures aim at regulating the administration of food and drug complaints and reports, promoting social governance of food and drug safety, increasing the punishment of violations of laws on food and drugs, and guaranteeing the health and life safety of the public. The Measures consist of 40 Articles divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions (I); Acceptance (II); Handling procedures (III); Information management (IV); Supervision and responsibilities (V); Supplementary provisions (VI).
The Measures advocate real-name complaints and reports. Respect shall be given to any complainants and reporters who are reluctant to provide their name, identity, contact information and other personal information or to disclose their complaints and reports.
