Administrative Measures of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for the Access and Benefit Sharing of Biological Genetic Resources and Related Traditional Knowledge (Trial).

These Measures aim to regulate and promote the protection and utilization of biological genetic resources and related traditional knowledge in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The access and utilization of biological genetic resources within the administrative area of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region shall follow the principles of national sovereignty, prior informed consent, and benefit sharing of biological genetic resources. The benefits generated from the utilization of biological genetic resources can be shared in the form of monetary or non monetary. Approvals shall be lawfully obtained for the acquisition or use of Guang Xi's biological resources by foreign organizations and individuals and bodies that they have established or control in fact.
