Administrative Measures of Yunnan Province for State-Owned Forest Farms.

These Measures provide for the requirements and rules to be satisfied for the establishment, change, merger, revocation, planning, construction, business operation and management of state-owned forest farms, aiming at the sustainable management and protection of state-owned forests in Yunnan.
The Measures underscore Yunnan’s commitment to forest conservation while allowing for compatible economic activities that support both environmental sustainability and local livelihoods. The planning, construction, and business operation and management of state-owned forest farms should adhere to the principles of ecology-based, protection-first, scientific management, and green development. In accordance with the requirements of green forest farms, science and technology forest farms, cultural forest farms, and smart forest farms, a sound forest resource protection, business operation and management system should be established to achieve high-quality development. The real estate registration agency of the people's government at or above the county level shall carry out the right confirmation registration for the forest land and trees in the state-owned forest farms within its administrative area and issue title certificates.
