Administrative Provisions on Food Safety Risk Assessment.

These Provisions are enacted to regulate food safety risk assessment and effectively play the supporting role of risk assessment in risk management and risk communication.
The results of food safety risk assessment shall be the scientific basis for formulating and revising national and local food safety standards, stipulating the temporary limit values of harmful substances in food, and implementing food safety supervision and management. Food safety emergency risk assessment and risk assessment shall mainly provide scientific support for the implementation of food safety risk management. The National Health Commission is responsible for establishing and managing the National Food Safety Risk Assessment Expert Committee.
