Administrative Provisions on Map Examination.

These provisions, consisting of 34 Articles, are enacted to strengthen the administration on map examination, safeguarding the sovereignty, security and interests of the state.
The surveying, mapping and geoinformation administrative department of the State Council shall be responsible for the uniform supervision and administration of the map examination work nationwide. In any of the circumstances as prescribed in Article 5, an application for map examination shall be submited to the competent administrative department for surveying and mapping geographical information.
