Abstract
The purpose of the agreement is to further develop the cooperation in the field of plant quarantine, effectively prevent introducing pests, diseases and weeds from one country to the other country, protect plant production and plant resources of the two Parties and promote the development of trade and scientific and technological exchanges. Plants or plant products to be exported from one Party to the other Party must be accompanied by the official plant quarantine certificate of the exporting country. The Agreement further provides for the exchanges of regulations and other relevant provisions of the relevant plant quarantine being implemented, including the plant quarantine and related scientific research, and the national quarantine list of pests, diseases and weeds.
