Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of Islamic Republic of Iran on the cooperation in the sphere of the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

The contracting parties shall encourage and promote cooperation on the peaceful development and use of nuclear energy. The areas of the cooperation may include: basic and applied research for peaceful use nuclear energy; research, design, construction of nuclear power plants and reactors; uranium exploration, mining and processing; the disposal of radioactive wastes; radioactive isotope production and application; radiation prevention and protection and nuclear safety; etc.
