Abstract
The Parties agree to enhance pest control efforts in their respective countries, and to take the necessary measures to prevent the introduction of harmful organisms from one party to the other party. Exports from one party to the other must be consistent with quarantine regulations of import country and accompanied with a valid export phytosanitary certificate. Soil and goods carrying soil should not be exported from one Party to the other Party. The Agreement further provides for: requirements on the packing materials and transportation tools of goods, exchanges of regulations and provisions relevant to plant protection and quarantine, competent authorities in charge of implementation of the Agreement, dispute settlement, etc.
