Abstract
This Agreement is composed of 11 articles. The Contracting Parties are willing to cooperate and take measures for the protection of their countries from introducing from the territory of one contracting party to the other contracting party’s territory the animal infectious diseases and parasitic diseases caused by entry, exit and transit of animals, animal genetic material and animal products, animal feeds and other quarantine objects, goods and articles, packing materials and containers. The respective authorities of the Contracting Parties shall negotiate and sign a protocol on the field of entry, exit and transit inspection and quarantine requirements of animals and animal products, confirm and exchange related animal quarantine and veterinary health certificate samples. The protocol shall be attached as appendixes of this Agreement, and become an integral part of this Agreement. The remaining articles cover the technical exchanges and information sharing, implementation organs and dispute settlement. The validity of this Agreement is 5 years, renewable.
