Agreement on trade and economic and technological cooperation between the government of the People's Republic of China and the government of the Republic of Iraq.

According to the existing laws and regulations, the contracting Parties shall, based on their respective capabilities, encourage and develop trade, economic and technological cooperation between the two countries. The economic and technological cooperation includes the areas that are beneficial to both contracting parties and other areas: 1. Petrochemicals, fertilizers and oil industries; 2. Development of agriculture, forestry, livestock and fishery resources; 3. Irrigation, drainage, soil improvement and water management; 4. Energy, power transmission and distribution; 5. Water and sewage treatment; etc.
