Announcement of the Guangdong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation on the Filing of Non-Food Producers and Business Operators Engaged in Refrigerated and Frozen Food Storage Services (Yue Shi Jian Gui Zi [2020] No. 5).

This Announcement is issued in order to implement the Food Safety Law, the Regulations for the Implementation of the Food Safety Law, and the Announcement of the State Administration for Market Regulation on Strengthening the Quality and Safety Management of Refrigerated and Frozen Foods. Refrigerated and frozen food storage service providers within Guangdong Province shall carry out filing in accordance with the law.
Refrigerated and frozen food storage service providers within Guangdong Province shall carry out filing in accordance with the law. The filing shall be conducted with the county-level market regulation department where the provider's business license is registered. Food producers and operators, as well as edible agricultural product sellers, who entrust refrigerated and frozen food storage service providers to store such products, shall verify the providers' filing information. They shall also clarify respective food safety responsibilities through contracts or agreements on food storage quality and safety, and supervise the providers to ensure that the storage of refrigerated and frozen foods meets food safety requirements.
