Announcement No. 14 of 2021 of the General Administration of Customs (Announcement on Quarantine and Sanitary Requirements for Cattle for Slaughter Imported from Laos).

In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of China and the protocol between the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on the quarantine and sanitary requirements for beef cattle for slaughter to be imported from Laos, Lao beef cattle for slaughter meeting the relevant requirements are allowed to be imported from the date of this Announcement.
The sanitary quarantine requirements for beef cattle imported from Laos for slaughter, including requirements for animal welfare, trasport, quarantine certification, food safety, etc. are provided in the Annex.
