Abstract
This Announcement was enacted in accordance with the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China.
For the health food not evaluated by human consumption, the words “This product has been evaluated by animal experiment” shall be added before the health function claim indicated on the label instructions. Since January 1, 2021, the enterprises which do not revise the label instructions according to the above requirements, shall be investigated and punished according to the relevant provisions of the food safety law of the People's Republic of China.
