Abstract
These Standards aim at protecting the environment, preventing and controlling pollution, and promoting the development of production process and pollution treatment technologies of sugar industry. The Standards stipulate the limits of water pollutants of sugar enterprises or production facilities and are applicable to the management of the discharge of water pollutants from existing sugar making enterprises or manufacturing facilities. They are also applicable to EIA, design of environmental protection facilities, post-completion environmental check and acceptance and post-operation management of the discharge of water pollutants of construction projects of sugar industry.
