Announcement No. 31 of 2021 of the General Administration of Customs on Inspection and Quarantine Requirements for Imported fresh beans from Laos.

According to the relevant laws and regulations of China and the protocol between the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Lao People's Democratic Republic on the inspection and quarantine requirements for fresh beans from Laos exported to China, the import of fresh beans such as Lao fresh soybeans, kidney beans and cowpeas produced since the date of this Announcement and meeting the inspection and quarantine requirements is allowed.
The inspection and quarantine requirements for imported fresh beans from Laos, including those for food safety, labelling/packaging, certification are provided in the Annex.
