Announcement No. 61 of 2008 of Ministry of Environmental Protection establishing technical requirement for environmental protection product-aftertreatment devices for diesel vehicle exhaust (HJ 451-2008).

These Requirements are developed with the purpose of controlling the emissions of vehicle exhaust and improving the ambient air quality. The Text establishes the technical requirements and measurement methods for aftertreatment devices of diesel vehicle exhaust, which shall apply to aftertreatment devices for exhaust emitted by engines of diesel vehicle, including diesel oxidation converter (DOC), diesel particulate filter (DPF) and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) equipment.
