Beijing Municipality Anti Food Waste Provisions.

These Provisions are formulated to prevent food waste, create a social trend of practicing thrift and opposing waste, and ensure food security. These Regulations apply to anti food waste and related publicity, education, supervision and management activities.
Food producers and operators should strengthen the quality management of food production, improve and improve production processes, storage and transportation conditions, encourage technological innovation, and reduce losses in production, processing, storage, and transportation; Marketing methods that induce consumers to waste food are not allowed.
