Chongqing Animal Epidemic Prevention Regulations.

These Regulations are formulated to strengthen the management of animal epidemic prevention activities, prevent, control and extinguish animal diseases, promote the healthy development of animal husbandry, maintain public health safety, and protect human health.
The Regulations consist of 52 Articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions; Prevention of animal diseases; Reporting and handling of animal epidemics; Animal quarantine and supervision and management; Safeguard measures; Supplementary provisions.
According to the Regulations, the government shall strengthen the digital construction of animal epidemic prevention, improve the digital management level of animal epidemic prevention work such as animal immunity, quarantine, monitoring, law enforcement supervision, and harmless treatment, achieve full traceability of animal husbandry, slaughtering, business operation, transportation, and harmless treatment, and exchange and share information on animal disease monitoring, major animal epidemics and zoonotic infectious disease epidemic disposal, and illegal behaviour investigation.
