The main objectives of the pilot work of forest business management are: explore the technical specifications that are suitable for the business management of ecological public welfare forest and commercial forest; explore the establishment of forest management models, rules and systems that are suitable for the construction of modern forestry; explore practical forest management investment models under the new situation; provide the basis for the government to formulate forest business management subsidy policies, build a number of forest business management demonstration units. The pilot work of forest business management focuses on the following: to test technical modes of ecological public welfare forest and commercial forest; to summarize and determine the input-output of different technical modes; to promote the forest business management scheme system; to explore the annual forest business management plan, operation design and capital subsidy management mode.
