Kinmen hopes to solve the water use issue of Kinmen through cooperation between the Taiwan Strait Exchange Foundation and the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits. The two Parties believe that water use in Kinmen is related to people's livelihood, and that cross-strait cooperation to solve the problem of water use for residents of Kinmen is conducive to the positive interaction between the two sides cross-straits. The two Parties agree to coordinate the competent authorities to actively promote and implement related matters in accordance with their respective procedures.
