Cross- strait cooperation agreement on earthquake monitoring.

In order to ensure the well-being of the people and the safety of their lives and properties on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, improve the capacity of earthquake disaster prevention and mitigation, and promote the earthquakes cooperation and development, the Taiwan Strait Exchange Foundation and the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits agree to conduct the exchanges and cooperation on the spheres of: earthquake monitoring; seismic activity monitoring; communication of disastrous earthquakes; application of earthquake monitoring technology ; earthquake prevention publicity and science education; etc.
