Abstract
These Measures provide for strengthening the examination and approval of the quarantine of animals or plants entering the country to prevent infectious or parasitic diseases of animals and plants from spreading into the country.
The State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine shall formulate, adjust and promulgate the catalogue of the animals and plants which need to be under quarantine examination and approval. The institution shall also be responsible for issuing quarantine permits for the quarantine of entry animals and plants. Procedures and requirements to apply for quarantine permits are set out in these Measures.
