Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Production Licensing for Paper Packaging, Containers and Other Products to Be Used for Food.

These Detailed Rules provide for the procedures and requirements to be satisfied for the application, examination and approval of production licenses for paper packaging, containers and other products to be used for food.
In order to produce food paper packaging, containers and other products listed in the management of production licensing, an enterprise need to obtain a production license. No unit or individual may sell or use food paper packaging, containers and other products listed in the management of production license in its business activities without obtaining production license. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine shall be responsible for the administration of the production licenses of food paper packaging, containers and other products in a unified manner.
The Detailed Rules further make provisions for basic production process and key control points; necessary production resources; product related standards; relevant requirements of raw and auxiliary materials; necessary factory inspection equipment; inspection items; etc.
