Abstract
These Detailed Rules are enacted in accordance with the law of the People's Republic of China on the prevention and control of infectious diseases and the measures for the implementation of the law. The Rules contain 7 Chapters: I. General Provisions; II. Prevention of Infectious Diseases; III. Reporting on the Epidemic Situation; IV. Control; V. Supervision; VI. Penalties; VII. Supplementary Provisions.
The competent agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry authorities shall be responsible for organizing the elimination of rodents in farmland, pastures and forest areas.
The centralized water supply must comply with the State's Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water. Governments at all levels must strengthen the sanitary management of drinking water in agricultural and pastoral areas. Human and livestock drinking water sources shall be separated, and necessary sanitary management systems of drinking water sources shall be established. Governments at all levels shall plan and construct public health facilities, and make harmless treatment of sewage and feces. Rural areas should gradually establish garbage and manure disposal sites, promote and establish harmless treatment.
