Economic Cooperation Framework among the Government of the People's Republic of China, the Government of Brunei Darussalam, the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, the Government of Malaysia, and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines.

All the Parties agree to abide by the terms of this Framework and their respective laws, regulations and national policies, and strengthen economic cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit. The Parties will take necessary measures to encourage and promote technical cooperation in the following areas: (1) Agriculture; (2) Forestry; (3) Fisheries; (4) tourism; (5) Mineral resources, energy and other natural resources development; (6) Infrastructure; (7) Human resources development; (8) Alternative energy development; (9) Finance. The Framework further makes arrangement on intellectual property protection, financing, dispute settlement, etc.
