Fujian Province Food Safety Regulations.

This Regulation is the first regulation on food safety in Fujian province. It is formulated in accordance with the Food Safety Law and other relevant laws and tailored to the province's specific circumstances of control "table pollution", aiming to ensure food safety and protect the health and life safety of the public.
The Regulation, consisting of 120 Articles divided into 8 Chapters, makes provisions on food production and business operation, food safety assurance, supervision and administration, legal liabilities and other aspects. To achieve comprehensive coverage of food safety control responsibilities and measures in the province, the Regulation a as important contents new food entity formats such as edible agricultural product production bases, food cold chain logistics, concentrated edible agricultural product trading markets, catering distribution, third-party platform providers for online food trading, and online food business operators, as well as new food supervision challenges such as a huge number of small food production workshops, small food vendors, small restaurants, schools, custodial institutions, canteens of government agencies and enterprises and institutions, and collective dining in rural areas.
Small food workshops are subject to approval, small restaurants and food vendors are subject to registration management, and food vendor restricted areas shall be set up around schools. According to the authorization and requirements of the Regulation, the Provincial Food and Drug Administration shall organize the formulation and revision of 12 supporting systems, including the approval system for small workshops in food production and processing, the registration methods for small food vendors and small catering. In addition, the Regulation sets up specific measures and innovative systems to guide public participation and promote social governance.
