General Administration of Customs Announcement No. 47 of 2022 (Announcement on Phytosanitary Requirements for Imported Fresh Avocados from Kenya).

According to the relevant laws and regulations of China and the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for Kenyan Fresh Avocados Exported to China between the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Cooperation of the Republic of Kenya, the import of Kenyan fresh avocado meeting the requirements described in the Announcement is allowed from now on.
The phytosanitary requirements for imported Kenyan fresh avocado described in the Announcement include those for: permitted production origin region, approved orchards, packing houses and quarantine treatment facilities, labelling/packaging, phytosanitary certification, and the list of quarantine pests of concern to China.
