Interim Measures for the Management of Recovery and Utilization of New Energy Vehicle Power Battery.

These Interim Measures aim to strengthen the management of the recovery and utilization of power batteries for new energy vehicles, promote the comprehensive utilization of resources, protect the environment and human health, ensure safety and promote the sustainable and healthy development of the new energy vehicle industry. The Text consists of 31 Articles divided into 5 Chapters: General provisions (I); Design, production and recycling responsibilities (II); Comprehensive utilization (III); Supervision and Administration (IV); Supplementary provisions (V).
The State supports scientific and technological research of power battery recycling, guide the collaboration among the industrial sectors, universities and research institutions, and promote battery recycling mode innovation (art.6). Article 15-17 make provisions for the collection, storage and transportation of waste old power battery.
