Abstract
This Announcement is enacted in accordance with the Entry and Exit Animal and Plant Quarantine Law and the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, aiming to prevent the introduction of swine flu epidemic into China and protect the safety of animal husbandry sector and human health.
It is forbidden to import pigs and their products directly or indirectly from Mexico and Texas, California, Kansas, USA. Stop issuing the Entry Animal and Plant Quarantine Permits for pigs and their products imported from Mexico and Texas, California, Kansas, USA. All the pigs and their products from Mexico and Texas, California, Kansas, USA, which have arrived at the Chinese entry points, will be returned or destroyed.
