Management Measures for the Filing of Livestock and Poultry Farms (Order No. 2 of 2025 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs).

In order to regulate the practices of livestock and poultry farming and to strengthen the filing and management of livestock and poultry farms, these Measures are formulated in accordance with the Animal Husbandry Law of the People's Republic of China.
Livestock and poultry farms that raise species listed in the National Catalogue of Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources at independent and fixed production sites, and that meet the farming scale standards set by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, shall be subject to the filing in accordance with these Measures. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is responsible for the national registration and management of livestock and poultry farms and shall adjust the farming scale standards in a timely manner based on the development of the animal husbandry industry. The Measures further make the proviisons for: the filing conditions and procedures, the requirements for change and cancellation, and supervision.
