Measures for the administration of the collection and use of forestry funds.

These Measures are enacted to protect China's forest resources and promote the sustainable development of forestry.
All units and individuals that cut forest trees shall pay the afforestation fund in accordance with the provisions of these Measures. The forest fund shall be calculated and levied at a maximum of 10% of the sales income of forest products. The specific collection standard shall be determined by the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government taking into account the economic affordability of forestry production and operation units and individuals.
