Abstract
The purpose of these Measures is to regulate food safety sampling inspection, strengthen supervision and management of food safety, and protect public health and safety. The Text consists of 56 articles divided into 8 Chapters: General provisions; Planning; Sampling; Inspection and results submission; Re-examination and opposition; Verification, disposal and information release; Legal responsibilities; Supplementary provisions.
The competent market supervision and administration authorities shall sign commission agreements with the technical inspection agencies that undertake the food safety sampling and inspection tasks, and clarify the rights and obligations of both parties. The State Administration of Market Supervision shall formulate a national annual food safety sampling inspection plan based on the needs of food safety supervision. Article 10 provides for the foods to be highlighted in the food safety sampling inspection work plan, including: foods with a high degree of risk and an upward trend in pollution levels; foods for infants and other specific groups; etc.
