Measures of Anhui Province for the Prevention and Control of Pollution caused by Exhaust Gas from Motorized Vehicle.

These Measures prevent and control pollution caused by emission from motorized vehicles, protect and improve the atmospheric environment, and protect the public health. The Measures consist of 36 articles divided into 6 Chapters: General provisions (I); Prevention and control (II); Inspection and treatment (III); Supervision and administration (IV); Legal liabilities (V); Supplementary provisions (VI).
The people's governments at or above the county level shall, according to the needs of the prevention and control, formulate relevant policies to promote new energy vehicles. For newly purchased motor vehicles, the provincial government may implement earlier the national phased motor vehicle emission standards. The Municipal and County People's Governments may provide economic subsidies to encourage the in advance elimination and update of high emission vehicles.
