Abstract
These Measures, consisting of 20 articles, are formulated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Advertisement Law and the Regulations on the Administration of Veterinary Drugs.
The veterinary drug advertisements to be released on key media, and the advertisements of new veterinary drugs during the period of protection and veterinary drugs produced overseas, are subject to the examination by the competent agriculture and animal husbandry authorities to obtain advertisement examination approval number. Other veterinary drug advertisements are subject to the examination by and animal husbandry authorities at provincial level. The Measures further provide for: the procedures and requirements for the application and examination, offences and penalties. The contents which conflict with the punishment rights in the provisions of the Administrative Punishment Law were revised in 1998.
