Measures for field appraisal for disputes over crop seed quality.

These Measures are formulated in accordance with the Seed Law of the People's Republic of China, aiming to standardize the procedures and methods of field appraisal of crop seed quality disputes, reasonably settle the disputes of crop seed quality, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of seed users and business operators. The Measures consist of 22 Articles.
Field appraisal shall be organized and carried out by seed management organs under the agricultural administrative departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level where the field site is located. The seed quality dispute handling agency may apply for on-site appraisal as needed; the seed quality dispute parties may jointly apply for on-site appraisal, or may apply for on-site appraisal separately.
