Measures of Hubei Province for implementing the Law of the People's Republic of China on Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products.

The purpose of these Measures is to ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products, maintain the health and life safety of the general public. The Text consists of 35 Articles divided into 7 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Production Places and Inputs of Agricultural Products (II); Production of Agricultural Products (III); Business Operation of Agricultural products (IV); Supervision and Administration (V); Legal Liabilities (VI); Supplementary Provisions (VII).
The producers and business operators of agricultural products shall be engaged in production and business activities in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and standards. It is prohibited to produce and sell agricultural products which do not meet the agricultural product quality safety standards prescribed by the state.
