Abstract
These Measures are enacted for the implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Diseases. The Measures contains 7 Chapters: I. General Provisions; II. Prevention of Infectious Diseases; III. Reporting on the Epidemic Situation; IV. Control; V. Supervision; VI. Penalties; VII. Supplementary Provisions.
The centralized water supply must comply with the State's Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water. Rural areas should gradually renovate toilets, strengthen sanitary management of public domestic water, and establish necessary sanitation management systems. It is forbidden to wash toilets and tools for transporting feces near drinking water sources.
The competent agriculture, animal husbandry and forestry authorities shall be responsible for the elimination of rodents in farmland, pastures and forest areas.
