Measures of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for the implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Rural Land Contracting.

These Measures have been formulated in accordance with the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Contracting of Rural Land. The Text consists of 42 articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions (I); Establishment of contracted management rights of rural land (II); Protection of contracted management rights of rural land (III); Administration of the contracted management right certificates of rural land (IV); Circulation of contracted management rights of rural land (V); Settlement of disputes and legal Responsibility (VI); Supplementary provisions (VII).
Contracting of rural land and pastoral land shall be fulfilled in the form of contracting by households within the economic organizations of the collectives, while rural lands such as barren mountains, waste, ditches, barren hills and waste beaches, which are not suitable for contracting by households, shall be contracted by means of bid invitation, auction, or open negotiation.
