Measures of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for Wetland Inventory Management.

These Measures are enacted to strengthen the protection of wetlands in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and standardize the management of wetland inventory.
According to the ecological location of the wetlands, the function of the ecosystem, and the importance of biodiversity, the wetlands in the whole Region shall be divided into national important wetlands (including internationally important wetlands), important wetlands of the autonomous regions, general wetlands and so on. Important wetlands and general wetlands that need to be included in the wetland inventory management are to be certified separately. The Measures make provisions, inter alia, for: certification standards; certification procedure; the content of inventory, adjustment of wetland inventory, naming of wetland, publication and filing of wetland inventory.
