Abstract
The Measures, consisting of 29 articles, aim to enhance the quality and safety management of aquatic products, and protect the public health.
The people's governments at or above the county level shall establish and improve the safety monitoring and management system for the production places of aquatic products. The business operators of aquatic products shall be responsible for the quality and safety of agricultural products. In order to enter the market for sales, aquatic products are subject to the quality and safety inspection and spot checks. The aquatic products, which shall be subject to quarantine according to law, the qualified marks and quarantine certificates shall be obtained before being sold.
