Measures of Qinghai province for the implementation of the Wildlife Protection Law of the People's Republic of China.

The Measure are formulated in accordance with the Wildlife Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, aiming at the protection of species of wildlife which are rare or near extinction, protection, development and rationally use of wildlife resources and the maintaining of ecological balances. The Text consists of 6 Chapters: General provision; Wildlife protection; Wildlife hunting management; Management of the domestication and breeding of wildlife; Legal liabilities; Supplementary provisions.
All the activities of wildlife protection, breeding of species, utilize and develop wildlife resources and scientific research within Qinghai province shall observe the Law of PRC on Wildlife Protection and these Measures. Wildlife resources shall be owned by the State. The remaining articles make provisions, inter alia, for hunting, domestication and breeding, closed areas and seasons, sale and purchase of wildlife, export of wildlife and offences and penalties. Any individual or unit domesticating or breeding of wildlife must apply for the permission.
