Abstract
The purpose of these Measures is to protect against and mitigate earthquake disasters and to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property. The Measures consist of 36 articles.
The Measures make provision, inter alia, for: earthquake prevention and disaster mitigation planning, earthquake monitoring network planning and construction, earthquake safety evaluation of construction projects, earthquake emergency plan, measures for earthquake emergencies, offences and penalties.
