Measures of Sichuan Province for the Administration on the Specified Animal Disease-free Zones.

These Measures are enacted to strengthen the construction, management and evaluation of the specified animal disease-free zones. The Measures consist of 25 Articles.
The provincial competent animal husbandry and veterinary authority should delimits the scope and types of the specified animal disease-free zones. The specified animal disease-free zones should: 1.improve the animal epidemic disease prevention and control system, animal health supervision system; 2. the prescribed standards shall be met for the specified animal disease prevention and control, quarantine, supervision, monitoring means and level; 3. formulate control plans, implementation plans and monitoring and purification plans for animal diseases, and strictly prevent and control measures such as mandatory immunization, disinfection, disease surveillance, quarantine supervision, harmless treatment and emergency disposal. The Measures further provide for the offences and penalties.
