Abstract
The purpose of these Measures is to regulate the supervision and administration of inspection and quarantine of imported and exported feeds and feed additives, improve the safety of feeds and feed additives, and protect animal and human health.
The Measures consists of 71 articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions; Risk management; Import inspection and quarantine; Export inspection and quarantine; Transit inspection and quarantine; Legal liabilities; Supplementary provisions.
The Measures cover the rules of, and requirements for registration, inspection and quarantine, supervision and administration of imported and exported feeds and feed additives. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) is the national competent authority of the supervision and administration of inspection and quarantine of imported and exported feeds and feed additives. AQSIQ shall be in charge of implementing risk monitoring of imported and exported feeds and feed additives, developing annual risk monitoring planning, and preparing the annual risk monitoring report.
