Memorandum of Understanding between General Administration of the State Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China and Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation of Kingdom of Thailand on restoring the longan exports from Thailand to China.

As a result of active bilateral negotiations and in view of the fact that Thailand had taken the corresponding pesticide residue monitoring program and improvement measures, China agreed to restore importing longans from Thailand. Both Parties agreed to strengthen agricultural product inspection and quarantine cooperation according to WTO / SPS principles and their respective laws, and establish a working mechanism to ensure the consumers’ health and agricultural production safety and promote the development of bilateral trade.
