Abstract
The two Parties agreed that agriculture, natural resources development, infrastructure construction, processing and assembly, and human resources development should be the key areas for cooperation between the two countries. The Chinese Party agreed to send agricultural experts to Myanmar to train agricultural product cultivation and processing technicians and provide excellent crop varieties and agricultural machinery and equipment. According to the Myanmar Foreign Investment Law, Myanmar will lease land to Chinese enterprises and provide preferential policies and other measures to facilitate the cooperation.
The two Parties further agreed to strengthen cooperation in the development of oil, natural gas and copper, nickel, iron and other metal resources, and to strengthen cooperation in the areas of infrastructure construction such as transportation, energy, electricity, and communications.
